<option>--enable-lto</option>: This switch will enable Link Time Optimization, which results in slightly smaller libraries (about 40 MB). This is said to make <application>LibreOffice</application> programs load faster (and possibly run faster, e.g. when recalculating a spreadsheet). On an 8-core machine with 16 GB of memory, the difference in compile times was minimal, but an extra 2 GB was used for the work files. On machines with fewer processors or a lack of memory, the compile might be much slower.
<option>--enable-lto</option>&nbsp;: ce paramètre active l'optimisation à l'édition des liens, ce qui résulte en des bibliothèques un peu plus petites (environ 40&nbsp;Mo). Certains disent que cela rend les programmes de <application>LibreOffice</application> plus rapides à charge (et peut-être même plus rapide à l'exécution, p. ex. pour recalculer une feuille de tableur). Sur une machine à 8 cœurs avec 16&nbsp;Go de mémoire, la différence en temps de compilation était minimale, mais 2&nbsp;Go supplémentaires ont été utilisés pour les fichiers de travail.
